Calendar Below are examples of some of the courses on offer.

12-12-08 Stones and Stars (where Heaven and Earth meet).
  Facilitators: John and Caitlin Matthews

John & CaitlĂn Matthews winter showcase this year, with special guest Ari Berk, looks to the inspirations of star and stone, the intersection where heaven and earth meet, to find the place of our dancing. As we approach the depths of midwinter's blessing, we will invoke the guardian stars and stones who reflect each other's power and mediate those patterns throughout the universe.
Stories of creation, myths of giants, dancing maidens and stones that go down to the waters to drink, songs of the rolling stones are all part of our ancient cosmological lore. Cycles of sun, moon and star are woven through us, reiterated in the patterning of the stones, the crystalline transmitters of wisdom. We will sit at their feet and trace those patterns as we join together in a group ritual entitled Star-Wheel and Stone-Circle.

28-11-08 Awakening Chakra Energies through Sound
  Facilitator: James D' Angelo

The key to our self-transformation lies in the vibrational spin of the chakras. The closer their frequencies are to the optimum the more we become who we really are and produce sound health at every level. Through the process of therapeutic vocal sound the chakras are stimulated and balanced, throwing off the blockages and releasing fine energies.
These approaches are followed: toning, the sounding of mantras, ritualising natural sounds, chanting from different traditions, tuning forks and vocal improvisation which are complemented by simple movements that encourage and direct the sound. Inner sound is explored leading to the meditation state where even greater healing lies. No previous experience is necessary, only the deep intent to become united with your true self.

24-10-08 Being the Music.

The work is supported with meditation, simple yoga (gentle body and breathing exercises) and deep relaxation. The retreat is open to anyone with interest and an open mind. 08-02-08 Intergrating Psychotherapy and Spirituality
  Facilitator: Serge Beddington Behrens

This weekend is for psychotherapists who want to learn to bring more soul and spirit into their work, as well as for spiritual educators who want to understand more about the importance of a psychological approach. Both are significant if we wish to be truly whole. At different times in our journey, we may need more of one approach or more of the other, or very often, both together. In this workshop, therefore, we will look at some of the many differences between spiritual and psychological approaches, explore how both are very important and how they can be better integrated in terms of working with clients.
